Why only Canada
Canadian EV incentives are uniquely complex. The federal EVAP program offers up to $5,000, but every province has different additional rebates, deadlines, and eligibility rules. Manitoba offers $4,000 extra (until March 31, 2026). Yukon adds $5,000. BC has charging rebates but eliminated their main EV rebate in 2024.

How we make money
ElectrIQ is free for all Canadians to use. We earn revenue through three primary channels:
1. Partner Referrals (Insurance & Financing)
When you request insurance quotes or financing pre-approval through ElectrIQ, we connect you with vetted Canadian providers who may pay us a referral fee. These fees help keep our service free while connecting you with competitive rates.
Important: Referral fees never affect the rates or terms you receive.
2. Affiliate Commissions (Products)
When you purchase EV chargers or accessories through our links, we earn a small commission from the retailer (typically 3-8%). The commission is paid by the retailer, not added to your price.
Important: You pay the same price whether you use our link or shop directly.
3. Premium Features (Future)
We're developing optional subscription features including real-time deal alerts, advanced comparison tools, and enhanced advisor capabilities. Our free tier will always remain comprehensive.
Objective Recommendations
Our recommendations are never influenced by commission rates or referral fees.
All advisor recommendations are based on objective factors: purchase price, rebate eligibility, range, reliability, operating costs, and suitability for your stated needs. Partner compensation does not factor into recommendation logic.
